Simple CRM alternative
A simple CRM alternative for small service businesses
Avendo is a lightweight alternative to a traditional CRM for freelancers and small service businesses. Instead of sales pipelines, deal stages and custom fields to configure, it gives you ready-made records for clients, jobs, payment status, tasks and reminders. The Free plan works offline on one device and needs no account.
How a typical week looks in Avendo
Avendo is organized around the work you deliver, not around a sales funnel. Most people use the same four records every day.
Add a client once
Save phone numbers, emails, messenger contacts (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Signal), notes and tags. On mobile you can import existing phone contacts.
Book the job
Create a job with date, time, price, location and notes, then move it through statuses: new, confirmed, done, cancelled or no-show.
Record whether it was paid
Mark the payment as pending, paid, partially paid, overdue or cancelled, with a due date and payment method.
Set the next action
Add a task or reminder linked to the client or job, such as a follow-up call or the next visit.
What you get instead of a CRM setup

Avendo compared with a traditional CRM
A traditional CRM is built to manage a sales team's pipeline. Avendo is built to run the day-to-day work of a small service business. Neither is better in general; they solve different problems.
| Avendo | Traditional CRM | |
|---|---|---|
| Main object | Clients, jobs and payments | Leads, deals and pipeline stages |
| Setup | Ready to use; no fields or stages to design | Usually needs pipeline and field configuration |
| Account | Not required on the Free plan | Required |
| Offline use | Free plan works fully offline | Usually cloud-only |
| Pricing | Free, then flat $4.99 or $9.99 per month for up to 5 people | Often priced per user |
| Sales automation and integrations | Not the focus | Typically extensive |
A good fit if you
- work directly with clients and get paid per job, visit or session
- currently track clients in notes, chats or a spreadsheet
- want something you can start using today without configuration
- work alone or in a team of up to 5 people
Probably not a fit if you need
- a multi-stage sales pipeline with forecasting and quotas
- email marketing, sequences or automatic email and SMS sending
- integrations with accounting or marketing tools
- invoices generated as PDFs or online card payments from clients
Questions and answers
Is Avendo a CRM?
Avendo covers the parts of a CRM that small service businesses use every day — client records, history and follow-ups — plus jobs, payment status and bookings. It deliberately leaves out sales-team features such as forecasting, quotas and marketing automation, so it is better described as a lightweight business assistant than a traditional CRM.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit, works offline on one device without an account and covers up to 30 clients and 50 active jobs.
How much do paid plans cost?
Pro costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year and Max costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Both include up to 5 team members, so the price does not grow per user.
Can I move my data out later?
Yes. On paid plans you can export your data as a JSON backup; the mobile apps also export CSV.
