How is the direct build different from the store version?
It is the same app. The direct build updates through this page and uses external payments instead of the App Store or Google Play.
Windows shows a SmartScreen warning — is that safe?
Yes. Because the file is downloaded directly, click More info and then Run anyway to continue.
How do I install the Linux .deb?
Download the .deb and install it with sudo dpkg -i, or open it with your software installer. The AppImage is not published yet.
How do I install the Android APK?
When Android asks, allow installs from your browser, then open the downloaded .apk file.
